Yeyo Blanco is an elegant, unaged tequila that balances sweet floral agave with refined spice and bright citrus, delivering premium complexity at an approachable price point. Handcrafted in small batches on the family estate in the Highlands of Jalisco by the Vivanco family and Master Distiller Sergio Cruz—who have been tending their pesticide-free agave plantations for five generations—this tequila represents a marriage of tradition and innovation. Made from 100% naturally grown Blue Weber agave harvested from rich red volcanic soil in the golden triangle of Arandas, the agave undergoes a slow 53+ hour roast in traditional brick ovens followed by over 190 hours of fermentation accompanied by classical music. Twice distilled in copper pot stills and bottled at 40% ABV, Yeyo is verified additive-free by Tequila Matchmaker using only three simple ingredients: agave, champagne yeast, and deep well water.
The nose opens with delicate hints of bright citrus zest—lemon and orange—layered with floral agave sweetness, subtle herbaceous notes, and gentle pepper spice. The palate delivers a fruity, floral, almost candied profile with a silky smoothness, creating a delightful balance between sweet, spicy, and peppery notes. Hints of wet clay minerality and light hearth smoke add depth and complexity, while bitter white pepper brings balance and structure to the finish. This is a blanco that drinks equally well neat or in cocktails—it's smooth enough to sip solo over ice, yet bold enough in character to enhance any margarita or Paloma.
Perfect served chilled or over a large ice cube to appreciate its layered complexity, Yeyo Blanco excels in the hands of both casual sippers and professional mixologists. As featured in Esquire Magazine's "Top Tequilas" and VinePair's "30 Best Tequilas for 2024," this is tequila as intended—pure, additive-free, and unforgettable. A testament to the Vivanco family's unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and the artisanal traditions that define truly exceptional tequila.
