Villa Maria Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a premium wine that showcases the best of Marlborough's Wairau Valley. This classic Sauvignon Blanc is packed with explosive tropical fruit flavors that are characteristic of this sub-region's warm climate. You'll be delighted by the bold and complex aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant, and ripe rock-melon, which are sure to awaken your senses.

On the palate, Villa Maria Reserve Sauvignon Blanc impresses with its rich citrus fruit flavors that blend seamlessly with the fresh and pungent herbs, including hints of fresh rosemary. This wine finishes with subtle acidity, leaving a lingering and refreshing aftertaste.

Critic Ratings

James Suckling Review - Rated 91:

Lots of lime curd, passionfruit and melon on the nose of this creamy and fruity white. It’s medium- to full-bodied with a rich and juicy finish.

Robert Parkers Wine Advocate Review - Rated 90:

The 2024 Wairau Valley Reserve Sauvignon Blanc offers far more overt thiols than the Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc of the same vintage. While that pins it to the wall as being unmistakably from Marlborough, it also makes for a far more pungent drinking experience, with passion fruit, guava, overt tropicals and some soft green leaf herbs. The wine is punctuated by brilliant acidity. This is certainly precisely from the Wairau Valley, and that is undoubtedly a good thing. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
