Don’t let the name fool you, there are no actual pears in this bottle, just the pure, vibrant magic of Austrian grapes. The Dot "Austrian Pear" Gemischter Satz is a fresh and lively field blend crafted by the renowned Pfaffl family.
Gemischter Satz is Austria’s traditional "mixed set," where different white grape varieties are grown, harvested, and fermented together to create a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. True to its nickname, this vintage bursts with aromas of ripe orchard pear, crisp apple, and a hint of citrus blossom. On the palate, it is zesty, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, a modern take on a Viennese classic that is effortless to drink.
Taste Profile: Ripe pear, green apple, citrus zest, and white flowers.
Perfect For: Sunny afternoons, picnic spreads, or anyone looking to explore Austria’s most charming white wine style.
