Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut
Binder: Sumatran Sun Grown
Filler: Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium
J.C. Newman is well known for their amazing cigars, and their Quorum line is no different. These cigars are inexpensive, but do not lack flavor, or consistency. If you are looking for a great, inexpensive, cigar for your daily go to, these are the ones. Fill up your humidor without having any buyers remorse!
The Quorum Shade is wrapped in a smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut seed leaf, with a Sumatran Sun Grown binder, and filled with Nicaraguan tobacco. It is a smooth mild bodied cigar, bursting with notes of cream, cedar, and baking spices.
The Quorum Shade represents one of the best value propositions in premium cigar making today. J.C. Newman — a family-owned company operating since 1895 and one of the last remaining American cigar manufacturers — applies the same quality philosophy to the Quorum line that defines their more premium offerings. The Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper is grown from Connecticut seed under Ecuadorian growing conditions, producing a leaf with the characteristic creaminess of Connecticut shade tobacco but with a slightly more pronounced character from the equatorial growing environment. The Sumatran binder adds a structural earthiness that prevents the cigar from becoming one-dimensional. An outstanding daily smoke for any aficionado looking for reliable quality at an everyday price point.
