Nervi is Gattinara's oldest operating winery, with 28.5 hectares spread across some of the region's best crus. Gattinara is home to some of the best Nebbiolo vineyards in the world. Wine Spectator thought so much of the Nervi-Conterno Gattinara, they put it on their Top 100 Wines of 2019 list, ahead of 63 others on that list! The winery, which was created in 1906, was purchased a few years ago by Robert Conterno, who has since renovated and improved the estate's three single-vineyard wines. Their Gattinara cuvée is made with a blend of steel and oak and has savoury red berry, white pepper, and ash flavours. Serve with grilled vegetables and red meats.
