Macanudo Sumatra Box Pressed Gordo
Marking a genuine milestone for the brand, this is the first time Macanudo has ever used a Sumatra wrapper, and the result is a bolder, more expressive take on their signature smoothness. A rich Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper wraps around a U.S. Broadleaf binder and a blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, delivering cocoa, roasted coffee, dried fruit, oak, and spice without losing the balance Macanudo is known for. Handcrafted at STG Esteli in Nicaragua, this box-pressed Gordo trades in the brand's traditional mild profile for real depth and complexity.
The Gordo size gives this blend plenty of room to unfold, delivering a long, unhurried smoke that stays medium-plus and richer than classic Macanudo without tipping into heavy territory. The box-press construction gives it a comfortable, substantial feel in hand, with a clean burn and consistent draw all the way from light to nub.
