The Bezzera Nini PM brings genuine semi-professional espresso performance to kitchens where counter space is at a premium. Built in Milan by the company that patented the espresso machine in 1901, this compact heat exchanger espresso machine measures just 25 cm wide, yet delivers the simultaneous brewing and steaming, PID temperature stability, and hands-on shot control that serious home baristas demand.
Heat Exchanger Performance in a Compact Footprint
At the heart of the Nini PM is a 1.5 L copper heat exchange boiler. Unlike single boiler machines that force you to wait between pulling a shot and steaming milk, the heat exchanger keeps brew water and steam ready at the same time. If cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites are part of your daily routine, this is the architecture that makes back-to-back milk drinks effortless — and the Nini delivers steam power that punches well above its size class.
Why Espresso Enthusiasts Choose the Nini PM
- PID temperature control: An electronic PID actively manages boiler temperature, giving you the thermal stability to dial in light, medium, and dark roasts with repeatable results — a level of precision rarely found in machines this compact.
- Integrated shot timer: The front-mounted digital display tracks extraction time on every pull, giving you clear, immediate feedback for evaluating and refining your espresso recipes.
- PM manual control: Press the brew button to start the extraction and press it again to stop. The PM (Push Manual) interface keeps you directly in command of shot time and volume — a traditional, hands-on barista workflow.
- Bezzera BZ brew group: The electrically heated BZ group reaches operating temperature faster than a traditional thermosiphon-only group and holds it steady from the first shot onward.
- Externally adjustable OPV: Fine-tune brew pressure from outside the machine to complement different coffees, roast styles, and extraction preferences.
- Optional flow control: The Nini PM is compatible with Bezzera's flow control kit for the BZ group, opening the door to extended pre-infusion and experimental pressure profiling as your skills grow.
Built to Last, Designed to Fit
The body and frame are crafted from AISI 304 stainless steel and finished with the historic Bezzera emblem — over a century of Italian espresso heritage in a machine just 25 cm wide, 44.8 cm deep, and 36.5 cm tall. A 3.0 L water reservoir keeps refills infrequent, while the vibration pump and 1200 W heating element run on a standard 110–120 V household outlet.
For the home barista who wants commercial-style espresso, real steam capability, and full manual control without dedicating half the counter to it, the Bezzera Nini PM is one of the most capable compact espresso machines available today.
