Apple and pear is one of those pairings that just works. The apple here is the green kind, crisp and a little tart, and the pear sits underneath it, soft and juicy, rounding off the sharp edges. Together they taste like biting into fresh fruit rather than anything sweet or syrupy.
Vaporesso have kept it clean. There's no candy note layered on top and no cooling, just the two fruits playing off each other. The tartness of the apple stops it getting sickly, which makes it easy to come back to all day. Next to the sweeter berry and candy options in the DojoLiq range, this is one of the more grown-up, refreshing choices, and a good shout if you find most fruit liquids overdo the sugar.
When to vape this
This is an all-day vape if ever there was one. Light, fresh and uncomplicated, it suits the morning as much as the afternoon, and it won't tire your palate the way a dessert or heavy sweet flavour can. It's also a sensible pick if you keep a few liquids on the go and want one that plays nicely between richer flavours.
Practical info
10ml bottle, 50/50 PG/VG, available in 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt. The salt base gives a smooth throat hit, so it stays comfortable even at 20mg, and the 50/50 mix is made for MTL pod kits like the Vaporesso Xros 6 or Dojo Blast. Go for 20mg if you're a heavier smoker or only reach for your vape now and then, 10mg if you tend to vape steadily through the day. One bottle lasts up to around 3,000 puffs depending on how you vape. Part of our 4 for £10 nic salt deal.
